Cynthia Weekley has been a member of the UC Berkeley campus community since 2001. She first joined Central Human Resources in Employment Services. In 2005, she joined the ERSO team as the Human Resources Director and helped launch the organization. In January 2018, she was named the Regional (Executive) Director for the ERSO Region (link is external)and continues to serve as the Assistant Dean, HR for the College of Engineering. Cynthia has worked on numerous campus committees and advocates for efficient administrative organizations, processes and systems.
Prior to joining UC Berkeley, Cynthia spent her time working in the private sector holding various HR leadership roles. Cynthia earned a BA in Communications from St. Mary’s College of California and a MS in HR Strategic Management from Golden Gate University.
Cynthia is committed to providing exceptional service to her customers and works to instill this philosophy in the College of Engineering and the ERSO team. Over the years, Cynthia has been honored with two Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Awards.
