Adhering to the timeline below will help ensure that your new employee has system access as quickly as possible, and that their first paycheck will be issued promptly.
Please note: During peak hiring seasons, these timeframes may be longer based on higher volumes.

* For student hires, see the Work-Study complete referral process for this specific timing. For hiring non-students, the position will be posted on the UCPath TAM system.
** It is critical for on-time pay and systems access to complete the DocuSign packet ASAP. Additionally, new hires should not wait for the 1st day of work to schedule a required onboarding appointment - they should schedule it immediately after receiving their DocuSign packet.
*** Student employees will already have CalNet access but will not immediately appear in CalTime.
