Collaborative groups in Berkeley Regional Services (BRS), Business Process Management Office (BPMO) and Technology @ Berkeley have been working over the past year and a half on the new and improved HR ServiceNow system. There is definite excitement about an anticipated Fall ‘21 launch. Campus units and their employees who use ServiceNow to request and track HR services will experience a more modern system that is being called the HR SERVICE HUB.
With a new look and feel and a landing page similar to Google, the HR SERVICE HUB will be much more intuitive to navigate and simple to use. There will be less required information and data entry to open a case (ticket) and it gives departments/employees more information about the status of open cases. Department personnel who are appropriate for the new “Department Access User” role will automatically be able to view all cases for their approved departments, along with the work notes in those cases. This should increase both the efficiency and transparency of HR service delivery.
Please note: This new ServiceNow system applies only to HR; ServiceNow for IT remains unchanged.
