Patrick makes his official return to UC Berkeley where he previously served as the Director of Business Operations for the Division of Student Affairs from 2015 - 2019. During his tenure, he managed a $350M operating budget, 41 departments, and 4,214 employees. He also orchestrated four (4) internal service center restructures with a 5-year strategic plan to streamline administrative functions, increased customer satisfaction, strengthened adherence to campus policies, all while navigating budgetary constraints.
Since 2019, Patrick served as the Sr. Manager, Head of the Operational Finance Division at the University of Otago, in Dunedin, New Zealand. In this role, he had complete accountability across the University to lead, develop and manage Accounts Payable/Receivable, Student Tuition, Cashiering and Supply Chain Operations in a shared services environment. He also led the Business Process Automation and Robotics Process Automation initiatives, contributing to their first ever digital automation Center of Excellence, creating 30,000+ redeployable hours back to the operations business in 2021.
Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Management/Public Administration degree. His extensive resume of business operations outlines a series of superior achievements as well as cross-divisional collaboration and impactful strategic initiatives.
