Julia has over 15 years of higher education administrative management experience, with significant experience in the areas of research and sponsored programs and human resources. Leonardo Arriola

Regional Associate Dean, SHARE Region

Leonardo R. Arriola is Associate Dean of Social Sciences, Associate Professor of Political Science, and Director of the Center for African Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Seamus is the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of Business Operations for the Administrative Division at Berkeley.

Patrick makes his official return to UC Berkeley where he previously served as the Director of Business Operations for the Division of Student Affairs from 2015 - 2019. During his tenure, he managed a $350M operating budget, 41 departments, and 4,214 employees. He also orchestrated four (4) internal service center restructures with a 5-year strategic plan to streamline administrative functions, increased customer satisfaction, strengthened adherence to campus policies, all while navigating budgetary constraints.

Teal Sexton

Regional Director, SHARE Region

Teal brings ten years of higher ed administrative experience serving the State of California in progressively responsible roles beginning in the CSU system and coming to UC Berkeley in 2014. In her most recent role as Interim Director of Finance Systems, Teal collaborated with many individuals and teams across campus to implement systems that over 2000 faculty and staff today: PI Portfolio and Cal Answers Finance, HR and Payroll.

Maya first joined UC Berkeley in 2011 as a Research Administrator. In 2013, she accepted the role of Contracts and Grants Supervisor for Campus Shared Services, supporting various Organized Research Units (ORUs) including The California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3).
